Is this a 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile racing? If I get my tranny back and installed in time, I believe I will make this event.
Are we able to pay at the gate as well, or only pre-paid?

This is a 1/4 track. If you plan on attending I would pre registar. Depending on how many sign up the gates may be closed to racers and only open for spectators.

You don't have to have a active Paypal account. You are not required to open one either. You can pay with a credit card or Echeck.
The Paypal link is the best way to pay and make sure you receive a free shirt.

What are the tech requirements? I have never run 1/4 mile but I'm sure I can run below 13. I may not be able to pass tech as my car is my daily driver.
