Payment linkAs most of you know for the past 2 years we have had the Mustang vs GTO event. This wild inception came about via 2 boards pretty much talking smack and decided to one day put your money where your mouth is. Well the event took place in Gainesville and was a total success, so much so after the event (with no intentions of doing this again) we were asked the question over and over “Are we going to do this again next year?” And “We HAVE to do this again next year!” So we did and that was a success and was bigger than the first. So each year we try to make it better then the last fix what was wrong and add to it as well as make it more fun and more challenging.
Well as you can see this year was an exception with the times the way they are and the timing/coordination of this event period was too much for us to do this year(even though we damn sure tried), but don’t go away just yet…No sir what we were planning wasn’t going to be this year because of lack of participation no way….it just evolved into something too big to pull it off with this short a timeframe, so it basically took this year of just planning and coordinating to get where we are now. And as we promised last year the next event is going to be bigger and better than the previous years and we don’t think you will be disappointed.
Ladies and Gentleman welcome to Pony Wars 2010.
This year the field will not only be Mustang vs. GTO, it will be a mixed group that will consist of the 4 food groups Pontiacs/Fords/Chevy and Dodge(Mopar) vehicles.
The venue location has also changed. It will be now proudly hosted at Valdosta (SGMP) February 13th (Sat) from 8-6 or 7. And we (Rich, SGMP and I) have decided to provide our own “stimulus plan” with an entry fee of 45.00 that’s right 45.00 bucks to race all day, spectators will be 10.00 (paid at the gate) and concessions will be open to all, and just as the last years events every driver will get a tee shirt. There will also be some very VERY good "gifts" to be won thanks to our sponsors.
Now let me put out there that this is in GA there is no changing of the venue, we decided upon GA(SGMP) this year for multiple reasons and as a matter of general consensus this is where it will be.
Also this is going to be first come first serve. Due to the nature of this event and the enormity we are only taking the first ones to sign up and pay (the paypal link will be put up very soon as well as the new website). Since we are only allowing a certain number of slots for each car to keep it fair. We will have a standby list to catch over flow but trust me this event WILL and I repeat WILL sell out of all spots. I am very confident that since we have opened this field to the other brands we will sell out.

That is all we have going once again with the enormity of this event we will not have brackets this year. This will be an all out test and tune with “benefits” what benefits you ask…Well you will have to sign up and find out.
So ever wanted the chance to line up against the new Camaro or Challenger well here is your chance. Want to try your luck against a Z06 or a ZR1 (yes I said ZR1) well come on in.
