So here is a basic break down of what is going to take place. THOSE WISHING TO RACE CAN STILL COME OUT AND PAY AT THE GATE. THE FREE DRIVER SHIRT WAS ONLY GOOD FOR THOSE PREPAID AND ON THE LIST. Steeda has offered to open up their shop early Saturday Morning beginning around 7:00 am this will last till about 8:15. From there people can Pony Trail to the track! 2019 Steeda way Valdosta, GA 31601
Gates will open about 9:00 am and tech will open then as well.
GGrudge runs should begin about 10am weather permitting. SGMP would like to make sure the track is warm enough before racing begins. This will continue till about 1 to 2 pm at which people will be asked to make a qualifying pass for the Arm Drop portion. 2 groups of 16 cars will be pulled that run close times. We don't know what the groups will be till race day and if you lift you will not be in the group. Just like pinks we want everyone to go full blast. After this we will do some more grudge runs then call for the ladies to get in a special lane for the Powder Puff portion.
Next there will be a exhibition run from some of the sponsors and at that same time we will run a quick 8 of the 8 fastest cars. When this is done we will run grudge runs till they need to flip on the lights. About an hour before they will call the day we will pass out awards draw for prizes and pass out the cash from the 50/50. If the pot for the 50/50 grows to over 400.00 we will split it in two drawings for 200 or more for the winners.
When we have to leave Steeda and SGMP are working to get a wing place to reserve some tables for an after party/brag fest.
This is going to be a very long day and it should go pretty fast. We will try and keep grudge runs moving all day.
I hope everyone has as good a time as we are working to achieve. I think your car will be worn out and maybe the drivers as well.

For folks with big trailers Steeda and SGMP have a place for us to park, I will also get some information about local hotels for those traveling from out of town. I would hope a lot of folks can stay thru the after party.

Good Morning/Evening everyone.
As most of you know, for the past 2 years, we have had the Mustang vs. GTO event. This wild inception came about via 2 boards pretty much talking smack and deciding to one day "put your money where your mouth is". Well the event took place in Gainesville and was a total success, so much so that after the event (with no intentions of doing this again) we were asked the question over and over "Are we going to do this again next year?" and "We HAVE to do this again next year!" So we did, and that was a success and was bigger than the first. So, each year we try to make it better then the last by fixing what was wrong and adding to it as well as making it more fun and challenging.
As you can see, this year was an exception, with the times the way they are and the timing/coordination of this event coming ever closer, it was too much for us to do this year (even though we damn sure tried), but don't go away just yet.....No sir! What we are planning isn't going to be this year due to lack of participation, no way....it just evolved into something too big to pull it off with this short a timeframe. It has basically taken this year of just planning and coordinating to get where we are now. And, as we promised last year, the next event is going to be bigger and better than in previous years and we don't think you will be disappointed.
This year the field will not only be Mustang vs. GTO, it will be a mixed group that will consist of the 3 American made food groups Ford, GM (Pontiacs, Chevy), and Dodge (Mopar) vehicles.
The venue location has also changed. It will now be proudly hosted at Valdosta (SGMP) February 13th 2010 (Sat) from 8-6 possibly longer. And we (Rich, SGMP and I) have decided to provide our own “stimulus plan” with an entry fee of $45.00 that’s right $45.00 bucks to race all day, spectators will be $10.00 (paid at the gate) and concessions will be open to all, and just as in the last years events, every driver will get a t-shirt. There will also be some very VERY good "gifts" to be won thanks to our sponsors.
Now let us stress that this is in GA there is no changing of the venue, we decided upon GA (SGMP) this year for multiple reasons and as a matter of general consensus this is where it will be.
Also, this is going to be first come first serve for the first 120 cars regardless of car make or brand. Due to the nature of this event and the enormity we are only taking the first ones to sign up and pay (the paypal link will be put up very soon as well as the new website). We will have a standby list to catch over flow but trust me this event WILL and I repeat WILL sell out of all spots. I am very confident that since we have opened this field to the other brands we will sell out.
The few details that are set in stone (and we are willing to let out as far as events) are as follows:
Powder Puff Grudge Runs Quick 8 or 16 arm drop style There may be a couple other items but that wont be finalized until closer to the event
That is all we have going once again with the enormity of this event we will not have brackets this year. This will be an all out test and tune with “benefits” what benefits you ask…Well you will have to sign up and find out.
So if you ever wanted the chance to line up against the new Camaro or Challenger well here is your chance. Want to try your luck against a Z06 or a ZR1 (yes I said ZR1) well come on in. Ever wonder how you would fair against a Dodge Viper well now is your opportunity want to have some great kill video well now is your chance (or maybe you will star in one who knows) the time is now for you to come on and sign up.
